Canelo is younger than GGG and is just playing a waiting game until GGG is way past his prime then he'll pound his chest for real!! I don't believe Canelo is afraid of GGG , he just knows right now he'd take a huge beating and that would be bad for his money making image so he will continue as he's been doing avoiding GGG at all costs. Maybe the fight will get made sooner than later if GGG gets hit by a bus or something first

Business and fear are not mutually exclusive. If it were a straight up business decision, Canelo would have fought GGG by now rather than risk losing that opportunity by upset (Jr. or Jacobs) or injury.

Obviously, Canelo is hoping that Jacobs wins, or that Jacobs exposes something in GGG that Canelo might be able to exploit ... as GGG continues to age.
