Smart move by chavez. Now he can come in over 164.5lbs pay the penalty with the extra cash and still make more if he wins... Not bad move.

        Oh, the irony
You said you're still waiting for him to do it. He's done it, he's made Golovkin an offer, he can't make Golovkin accept it. He never said he'd give Golovkin 40%.

If he comes in overweight and still loses does that mean he pays Canelo for the event?

Umm second thought wouldn't Chavez made a SHT ton more if he just took that $6 million and bet in himself to win at 8-1 odds???

                8×8= $48,000,000

                6×2=$12,000,000

Chavez Jr. Needs to lay of the weeeedddd.

Come on Canelo, you say you want to fight GGG so much ... All you have to do is accept the offer and sign the contract.

When did he fight Golovkin like he said he would? After Cotto? No. During the negotiations period in Jan 2016? No. After Khan, like he said in the ring? No.

Like I said, many of us are still waiting for Canelo to honor his word and fight the man he has said on many occasions that he would fight. And I think it's ironic he has the nerve to question another man's integrity
