You're wrong.

Most people consume TV though DVR, DVR services like OnDemand, and steaming. None of those count in average live viewers. For example, HBO's The Night Of finale averaged 2.1M viewers but it reached 7M viewers over the week on different platforms. Game of Thrones typically averages 7-9M per episode but around 25M are reached over the week through services like streaming and DVR. HBO and Showtime don't care about their live TV average because they don't air commercials or receive advertising revenue. All they care about is how many people are they reaching overall through every platform, TV, internet, DVR, streaming etc etc.

Live TV is just a piece of the pie.

but thats all part of TV DVR/ ON DEMAND etc etc they dont charge you different rates for DVR or ON DEMAND lmfao that all inclusive with TV, I get your talking about ratings but monetary wise its all part of the TV pie. Their streaming services is another slice of that pie. They dont count free streams and weekends they use those numbers to see how many converted and re calculated their customer acquisitions cost.

Not bad but by no means good. This fight was on showtime which offered free access to non subscribers this weekend. That's how I was able to watch.

So this was basically the same as having it on NBC, cbs, or abc. Everyone had access to watch the fight. In that sense it was rather blah type viewer numbers.

Could you at least read the article before you comment? They don't count unsescribed viewers in their ratings. All the people watching for free were not counted I'm sure the numbers would have broken 1 MIL.

Good TV numbers against very little sport competition... But only drew 6k in a 10k college arena in his hometown.

There was a lot going on that weekend. Things that were planned before the Broner fight. That's why they had to move it to the Cintas Center because U.S. Bank Arena was already booked.

SHO had a free view weekend this past weekend. I am interested to see how that affected the numbers.

They been averaging 500k viewers so you should have an idea.
