Well, according to Oscar, Canelo's last fight did "close to" .. meaning less than ... 300k. But Jacobs would likely be seen as a more credible and dangerous opponent than Liam Smith, so yeah, I agree with that.

Things could be looking different by Sept though, if GGG gets that 4th title belt from BJS. That's why I think he'd be nuts to accept the fixed fee he's being offered now, even if it is $15 million.
