GGG's last PPV, in the UK against Brook, sold 642k .. and that was just in the UK. Brooks previous PPV headliner only did 39k, so you can see from that how much appeal Golovkin has now.

GGG has many more fans worldwide than Canelo. Taking that into consideration, plus Canelo's falling HBO PPV numbers, Golovkin would bring as much money to the fight as Canelo.

50/50 on all the income would be fair, imo.

I think we should gauge Canelo vs Chavez Jr.ppv's vs
GGG vs Jacobs ppv's and based on those numbers give the guys the corresponding split based on success.

Canelo has said he will be fighting at 160 after Chavez. If GGG beats Jacobs, and the rumours about him fighting BJS in Kazhakstan after that are true, then by Sept, Golovkin could be holding all 4 world titles in Canelo's new division.

If that's the way things pan out, Canelo wouldn't be able to do anything at MW without going through GGG.

Agreed, Canelo wuld have to dehtrone the absolute champion to be the king of 160.

Canelo doesn't have a choice, if he wins and GGG gets past Jacobs the 2 guys are destined to collide this year.
