At 1st I was on Canelo's side....when he won the belt from Cotto...Cotto made the decison to come down to 155 or whatever the catch-weight was...Cottos fault for losing the belt...

Since that victory, Canelo has said I'm not a MW..I'm a 154 pounder. And thats why he stood firm on GGG coming down to fight him.

But now that Canelo is going up to fight Chavez...what happened to the you're a 154 pounder?? You can fight 1 guy at the weight but not GGG?

Oh He scared. Or knows that L is more possible fighting GGG and wants a big ass piece of cake if he loses.

Oscar just needs to concentrate on the Chavez Jr fight period.

Oscar needs to redirect the GGG questions until the Chavez fight is over.

At first I was not happy about this fight taking so long. If 3G wants the fight take the offer and take it out on Alvarez in the ring. If 3G wins then he is the A side for a rematch. If you want the fight take the deal and be a good boy!

Oscar is already in damage control mode breaking out the analogy of the wait for May-Pac. GBP will do everything they can to make it look like they tried to make the fight for September. Only the hardcore Canelo but huggers will buy it. They want GGG to get a little older first. It's a problem of their own making tho and I hope the fans come down hard on them. You can't find a more reasonable person to do a deal with in boxing than Tom Loeffler. He'd make the fight in a heartbeat if it was a legit offer. The thing is Canelo will still have a good career after he takes his beating from GGG. It will cost a steeper physical price than the defeat against Floyd but he'll rebound and still have a strong fan base.

it’s just a matter of him signing on the dotted line! He cant find his pen...lol He's gonna be 37 before he gets a BIG fight or maybe he never will....If he wanted the fight as much as he says......either he's lying or he's lying, or maybe it is ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMIN'S with lil g. So a boxer isnt what he says he is, a lot of casuals are crying about this.

How many times have we been down this road where we say some one won't fight some one only for the fight to happen? Let's maybe start giving these warriors the benifeft of the doubt. Instead of always eating our words.

It's sad how Oscar turned out. He used to fight everyone, yet protects his fighter from any risks.

Quoting from the article: "De La Hoya contended Tuesday, however, that his offer to Golovkin was a combination of a guaranteed purse and pay-per-view revenue."

We will get an indication if this is true or not by the reaction of Golovkin's team. If they quickly challenge or refute that statement, that means De La Hoya is fudging the truth. If they remain silent, De La Hoya is probably telling the truth. We should know in a day or two. If that statement is false, I can't imagine Able Sanchez not complaining to anyone willing to listen to him.
