And if he gets injured this fight, then he takes another tuneup for his next fight. That's what I miss about guys like Lennox Lewis, Holyfield, etc...they would just fight everyone. Their failures made them greater champions in their legacies. Wilder could retire 40-0 and no one would really talk about him, which is a shame because he's a good fighter, just not taking on much. There are champs with 20 fights right now that have fought better ranked opponents. I don't want to dump on the guy, but it's been 2 years of this now.

Hopefully Wilder just steam rolls this guy and he's genuine about facing a top draw next such as Parker, I really do expect him to unify as opposed to face Ortiz as a potential mandatory.

The Joshua fight I do not expect will happen unless Klitschko wins as WK will be in a rush to unify, will Wilder seek to delay that fight even longer though if WK blasts the British Arnold Schwarzenegger wannabe out easily.

if Wlad wins, he should forget the WBC belt because since 2013 he has been trying to fight Wilder( yeah even when Wilder did not have a belt)..

I agree about his resume but these clowns will always pretend that didn't happen. That's the way it is if you have an agenda that has nothing to do with boxing.

wilder was a project who started to peak out a few years ago, this is not a sport u can just start in your 20s and master, he was headed in the right direction with that ped head povtk, hopefully after this fight if he wins he can head back in the right direction.

                  Save that question for GGG

AJ and Ortiz just fought Wilder's leftovers.

                    What about their resumes?

Where was Pops Ortiz when Wilder was looking for an opponent prior to the Szpilka fight???

The Pole is the ONLY one to answer his phone.

You really think Ortiz wants that work?

                      I don't

I'd love to see his geriatric ass on a stretcher....but doubt he's serious about wanting Wilder.
