Yeah, I saw that quote. I'd assume the same, that he probably doesn't get the respect from some in Mexico he feels he deserves. I've heard that many in Mexico aren't too fond of him. Mexicans are hard core fans so I'm sure many aren't too happy with his business first approach to being. There's an article in Spanish from a yr ago called "Mexico no cree en Canelo Alvarez" that explains how he hasn't won over the hard-core Mexican yet.

To be fair he's not predicting he's promoting. Yes it's a sham of a fight. However well it does will be no thanks to me. I'm not buying it. I might catch the replay on HBO the week after if NSB doesn't shred the fight in the week between.
