Whether they sign early or not, the fight is off for September if either guy loses first, dummy. That's how these deals work
I know that Hero. I was simply walking through the decision and risk points. If one of them dies, no fight. If Trump deports GGG, no fight. If one of them goes blind, no fight. If one of them is abducted by aliens, no fight and so on. This is not rocket science. The point is that Golovkin is running a greater risk than Canelo at many levels. For one, he is less likely to lose. Paradoxically, he incurs a greater risk of financial loss in the form of $15 million because of that Think about it.

Hero, there is zero risk after the fact. Risk is incurred only before the fact. You could say that Pacquiao guessed right and things fell into place for him on that score. At the time a lot of folks were speculating that he turned down the $40 million because Mayweather insisted on more rigorous PED testing.

They need each other for legacy of daring to be greatest middle weight of their era. If Connello never fights him he will always have that * of ducking GGG. Your just delusional and denial business man making excuses.

Is he saying waiting is worth it so that Golovkin makes more? There were a handle of people that said PAC not taking 40 million plus no blood testing was ok whereas others complain he was out of his prime event though Floyd is older... therefore, article fail.

Why does Alvarez need Golovkin? If the fake writer is trying to justify that he is a draw that deserves a split, then why are these fighters obligated to fight is they can make money by tehir own attendance? Why does Gennady need Alvarez? He doesnt have a belt. GBP offered 15 million.

Golovkin is not Pac, and he is old.. this narrative is getting old too
So you basically Trumping? News that doesn't fit your Narrative is fake or by a fale writer with an agenda??

The fight is not happening till September earliest. Doesn't matter if GGG signed last September, the fight is off if either guy loses first. So your point is, GGG should not take risky fights till then?

C'mon man, nobody was talking Peds at that point. It was Flo mos and some paid shills shilling for the silly flat fee, and rest of the world seeing it for what it was. Remember PAC took a massive Ko loss afterwards, and still ended up making 3x

Like I say it was speculation. The long and the short of it is that Pacquiao gamble $40 million and a few years later got $100 million for his trouble...lucky guy!

It is for GGG and his team to decide. I am a bit of a risk-taker myself, but that is too rich for my blood. But here I am retired and living on a pension. Were a young millionaire like GGG, I probably would roll the dice like Pacman did. I do hope the fight gets made, if for no other reason than to silence Abel Sanchez and Virgil Hunter.
