How is RJJ Not Punch Drunk?

Considering his age and the amount of times he's suffered a KO, yet at 48 he's still coherent, fluent and lucid as ever as a HBO commentator with no slurred speech?

It effects everyone differently. Plus, it's entirely possible that it'll start affecting him more and more as he gets older.

I do hope hel'll never get punch-drunk but 10-15 years from now it could be a different story.

You have to remember how little punishment he took for the bulk of his career. You couldn't hit him until the Tarver fight. So acclamation on him isn't maybe as high as it seem, although he's had a few bad knockouts.

What i'm worried about is how much he will degrade after finally retiring. He should train even after retirement because that'll keep all that punishment from rapidly cascading on him.

Some guys just seem lucky, like Chuvalo and LaMotta taking so many heavy shots yet still speaking clearly as the decades go by. My guess would be Roy has still taken less career punishment than guys like Holyfield, Toney, Bowe and got in less gym wars than they did.

I think afew of his KO's were fake.

I think he betted on himself and won big and faked ko's.
