I expect Floyd to go into 'walk down' mode, but this is a competitive fight, anyone who understands styles would see that. Khan would have trouble landing on Floyd - just like everybody else, but its a tough style for Floyd himself to get consistent offensive success.

I say it plays out in a similar pattern to Judah-Floyd, Khan has success early with fast long flurries, but when the pace slows around 4/5, Floyd starts to take over. His mind is just sharper, he doesn't burn energy like Khan does, plus he is rugged, fast enough, skilled enough, and technical enough to effectively walk Khan down if he needs to.

    8-4 Floyd.

if its the floyd from maidana 1, i could see khan getting a points win...floyd had got comfortable with being able to potshot a shot here and there, and khan is pretty active with some good fast fluent combinations especially early...floyd would be in with somebody who could hit him back when countered...

other than that, it would end up like judah or hatton

Khan is the chinny Pakistani Zab Judah, people believe way too much in those two. That would've been a good fight if they fought in their prime at 140. I think there are fighters that Zab went 12 against that would've slept Khan, like Matthysse, DSG (oops DSG did sleep Khan lol), 2003 Corley, and I highly doubt Khan lasts as long as Judah did against Cotto. Even now a past prime Cotto breaks Khan in half.

But you are right, Khan gets too much credit. DSG is not even a big puncher like that he just really got those two good KO's vs Khan and Morales, his strength is his chin and will. But he still managed to brutalize Khan.

How? Khan and Maidana fight nothing alike. Their power is vastly different, Khan won't brawl, he's not physical like Maidana.

Did you see the Khan of the Julio Diaz fight? Or the Algieri fight?

I think Floyd would rough Khan up with his better inside game.

I think Khan is the only fighter at welterweight that can beat Mayweather, I'm not saying he would but style wise it would be his toughest fight, being a huge Mayweather fan I never understood why he never fought Khan, esp for his final fight, the fight would have sold big (we all saw the #'s for the Canelo fight, Canelo brings 300K when he fights unknowns, but the Khan fight doubled that), Mayweather-Khan would have brought in at least 1.4M PPV's, and maybe even hit the 2M mark, I think Khan would clean out the first 5 rounds, and then Mayweather knocks him out with a left hook in around round 9

Khan's not a big draw. Don't be fooled.

I live in Metro-Detroit where there is a huge ****** population (30%), did you know almost every single house and cafe had that fight on, and he has more twitter followers than Canelo, Golovkin, and Ward combined

Amir Khan, with his gifts being what they are, only fights in one way; Floyd can fight in more than a handful of ways. You add that Floyd also happens to be the longer fighter, and things end badly for Khan.

Khan comes out fast for the first two rounds, Floyd figures the patterns out by round four, and Khan gets routed for the rest of the fight (likely getting walked onto something late).
