That echoes what I've heard. I'm from Montreal and some media are reporting that Joe Smith is kind of "feelin' himself" a bit too much and that he wants a 50-50 share of the pie. That is the reason why the fight is a no-go.

I agree this fight should take place. Now Joe has to prove himself. His win against Granpa Be-Hop doesn't say much other than top 10 worthy. The Fonfara fight showed him in troubled water very early and a desperate lucky punch saved him from getting embarrassed. The rest of his pedigree shows nothing to write about. I'd like to see him against Williams Jr or someone in the likes and see how it goes...
