From what i know.
You need to live at least 16 years on the country to be able to do the spanish test.

i could be wrong, but that's what i heard from an Aunt living in the U.S.

No. In fact the US doesn't actually have an official language.

Yes, you have to write sentences and read a couple lines and answer all questions in english during interview.

If I remember Lara knows English he just doesn't like to speak it because he's self conscious about it.

Thanks for the education guys, didn't want to ask the question (Political correctness and all) but am glad I wasn't abuse for asking it. So am guessing he had the option to do the test in Spanish or English... really didn't know that the official language isn't English.
