And this is just plain ridiculous. Spence is not Lacy. Even if he gets the same kind of beating, he does not fight anything like Lacy or get the same hype. Their careers are also not at all the same to this point.

Cant wait for this fight. Brook by UD. If Spence wins it will propel him to the top of the WW rankings in my book for sure and if he does it with ease the entire division will be put on notice. Kell deserves big respect for taking two tough fights back to back. He could be like most paper champs and avoid his mando but he isn't even though Spence is a high risk low reward type of fight.

It's almost embarrassing how the fat Yanks deny the comparisons between Jeff Lacy and Herol Spence, Jr. They are clear to see. You are all so sure of an easy win for Herol, when in reality he's looked great knocking over palookas. The only difference between the two, Jeff Lacy was a more accomplished fighter at the time.

Lacy can walk down any street in America and not get noticed. He can't take 2 steps in the UK without people noticing him

I'm from Canada and I remember lots of hype over Jeff Lacy. It's interesting to read all these Americans saying that Lacy wasn't hyped. Haha

Sure Lacy got press, but there is no comparison to Spence in level of press or fight style. ALSO....Brook is no Calzaghe! Sounds like certain folks are desperate for an example of how the hope their fighter will prevail. Good luck. Spence appears to have the goods.
