This is pathetic, so it's delayed for a week and the possibility and likelihood is the purses will be even less than 400k. Why the WBA didnt just ratify the 400k bid or have the second purse bid immediately afterwards is absurd. This farce of keeping Oquendo around has gone on long enough.

I'm still trying to figure out how Oquendo is still in the rankings when he hasn't fought in almost three years. Just elevate Briggs to #2 or #3 because Ortiz looks to go after the WBC belt

Briggs basically is conctractually owed a title shot. He pursued his shot through the courts, just be thankful he's contesting the regular belt and not the super belt.
