Just how weak is this era of boxing?
Yeah Broner hasnt really beaten anyone, didnt some ppl think paulie actually won? i literally cannot remember a single thing about that fight.

4 weight world champion, beating up mismatched smaller opponents while broner has all the advantages

I don't think it says that this era is weak, it more says that it's extremely easy for a promoter to guide their fighter to a title without actually doing anything/ fighting anyone of note.

That's what seventeen divisions and four recognized titles per division gets you. Broner and Burns would have been lucky to win a single title back in the 80s or before. Weak eras are weaker under these conditions. Henry Armstrong- a TRUE 3-division champion and possibly four back when it counted for something. A lot of people brag about Pac's 8 divisions, but with CWs, it's not really legitimate. Yes, on the books, he'll go down as such, but only in this era could that even be possible. Things need to change. And yes, Broner's two best opponents in Maidana and Porter both beat him, although he scored a pretty sneaky KD in the last round against Porter. That was good.

No. Because Broner, regardless of what people (such as you) wanna make you believe, isn't that good and he's giving up some advantages in this fight. And we know he struggles with pressure/activity.
