I mean it really wasn't a hard decision. The IDIOT Failed his Drug Test, wasting Wilder and everybody time then his B Sample came back positive as well. The division moves on with out him!

They probably won't ever pay him but who cares!

It's reimbursement for all the money spent on the training camp and the travel expenses and also potential earnings that he would have had if Povetkin never wasted all that time of his.

The money was already transfered into an escro account or sumin like that, and since neither the russians or wilder have any control over that account, I don't think it will be a problem for Wilder to get paid what he is owed.

Other fights have fallen apart over failed tests and I haven't heard of lawsuits being filed for damages. I would understand if this was the norm but this is the first I've heard of this happening.

It's not Wilder's fault the others didn't file for a lawsuit. Also it is 'possible' that maybe those guys were also juicing but just got away with it, so they wouldn't have felt as vindictive as a guy who was actually clean like Wilder, hence maybe the reason they never filed for lawsuits.

Anyway I can't say for sure it's just speculation on my part.
