Using Tom Brady and football is a horrible analogy. The quarterback is he most protected position in any professional sport, hence while they're able to play longer. If your a traditional pocket passing QB the NFL's rules are tailored for those type of QBs. That's why the likes of Manning and Brady, doesn't get hit as much as the Rodgers, Big Ben, Newton and Wilson just to name a few. Don't get me wrong Brady is one of the greatest Athelets ever. It's just not fair to compare both sports with different requirements and qualifications

      Too bad Ortiz' promoter wasn't.

The minute Brady got hurt the league change the rule to protect the QB position even more. Horrible analogy.

just speaking of high profile athletes returning frm injury...ala JJ Watt. Is that better - A defensive lineman. Don't hear him whining about testing his injuries against "soft" competition.

Wouldn't shock me if Wilder lost. I've been saying forever I think Wilder will catch some not so elite fighter L's as his career progresses. I think he'll beat some better guys too, but for sure I could see a Washington caliber L or 3 in his future.

Those guys get a certain amount of garunteed salary. If Wilder can't fight he can't eat.

Still a horrible analogy, Watt even though he's a beast and probably the best defensive player in the league. Sits out basically the entire year, goes through rehabilitation and still gets a entire off-season and full training camp. Also Watt is not playing against top notch offensive lineman every week, even though some start, there are still talent levels and gaps.Boxing and football is totally different worlds plain and simple

                      Based on facts

Brady is not athletic at all.

You must be in a wheelchair.
