Wilder hasn't fought since he had surgeries six months ago to repair injuries to his right hand and right biceps. Tired of hearing the "test my injuries" bs for fighting another can..he's obviously been cleared by his doctors to train,spar, and fight. Never heard Tom Brady say he needed to face a "soft" defense to "test" his surgically repaired knee. Stop being such a little girl and whining about injuries!!!

I disagree with the article. With 19 more fights wilder hasn't fought better opposition. Stevirne is the only good fighter wilder has fought. But he has 19 more fights so it should be enough experience to pull him through

Deontay could have found a better opponent to defend his title. Even if he defeats Washington (which he will), what would he achieve? Luis Ortiz was ready to step up but Mr Wilder hid behind the drug usage past.
