That being said, considering all of that, I don't want to see a rematch, it will be the same fight minus KD, Kovalev just doesn't have the right tools in his arsenal to beat Ward, starting with a lack of accurate uppercut to prevent Ward clinching attempts, and soild body work to weaken Ward's defense - Kovalev was head hunting too much - he doesn't have these tools in his arsenal.

Most of boxing media gave the fight to Kovalev, he put his man down, he wants the rematch... and somehow magically you don't want to see a rematch?
The only logical explanation for this is you're afraid Ward loses in a rematch.
No I wouldn't say so. Good fight, but neither man had much success going down the stretch. A significant fight, so will have replay value for that. But they didn't make enough magic happen to elevate it to a classic.
