This is true, but I found the fight deeply interesting due to the near constant adaptation both guys showed. There was a lot of intellect in the ring that night. Both guys proved to be excellent fighters in all dimensions of the boxing game. There was bout 8 more gifs that got left out because this piece was getting VERY long and time consuming to write. If you notice there isn't a single one from round 8.

More like down to who Kovalev is. Any suspense or excitement was solely due to Kovalev, and seeing if he'd KO Ward, which he nearly did before Ward went on clinch mode. Only reason people gave a **** about this fight was because of Kovalev, not boring-ass Ward. Cheeky bastard is now acting like he's a draw, is he ****!

Great fight, the person above me is a perfect example of how people are unable to detach emotions and analyse fights objectively.

Very hard fought back and forth fight, I was entertained by the fight and enjoyed it immensely. Kovalev is an incredible fighter as is Andre Ward Kovalev is the guy who should be getting hyped over Golovkin.

May and Pac ****** because they didn't fight. Kovalev and Ward was exciting to me, names aside, because they came to fight, if I saw them as two guys I didn't know on an undercard I'd still find the fight exciting because you can see the skill level. Pacquiao and Mayweather had the skill level but wouldn't fight.

I think most of the people saying the Ward-Kovalev fight ****** are bitter that Ward won. It wasn't a great fight, but it was entertaining nonetheless due to the skill levels and the guys trying. Both are flawed though in the entertainment spectrum, one guys has too little stamina for an epic war and the other is a feather-duster.

kov dominated the fight. ward didn't clearly win a round. lil punches while holding or clean powers shots and a dominating jab=it could have gone either way

Pacquiao gaave too much respect and Mayweather was too content on being far away from pac as possible. It was like two clowns playing tag, it was embarassing in the highest degree. While the other, Ward is too busy wrestling down Kovalev while Kovalev is too busy applying DDT on ward
                  s head.
