It wasn't the shoulder roll that made him win all his fights, it was boxing IQ and his ability to suss his opponent out. He was boxing personified and a joy to watch. And his 49-0 isn't even the best part about him. Ward, undefeated like Mayweather, is awkward, a sore site for the eyes, can win 100-0 and still be a boring ****er to watch.Comment

k but i only operate in facts. not alternative facts. pac made around 200 million for the fight counting ppv. if he gave in to floyds demands he would have made the 40 million fat flee that you are claiming. floyd gave in and gave pac 160 million more than he wanted to give him. this isn't the trump administration. this is real life. can't just make up things here. this is boxingscene. this is serious business.Last edited by daggum; 02-11-2017, 07:25 AM.Comment

If Pac was taller his low centre of gravity wouldn't exist and he would be easier to hit, he probably would be less flexible and slower as wellIf Pac was taller and longer would he be T.B.E my answer would be "hell yes".
Would the fans not hate him so much?
Some if these haters would be converted to "Pac Tards"
He has more solid than solid resume, longetivity and multiple moves proves that he is the goods.
If he had 'flaw' in his game it would be his smaller size.
Hypothetical situations are not applicable to anyone unless you include everyone. Floyd is just as he is, and his accomplishment is just as it is.
I get what you were trying to say but the example you used is a complete fail. You can't compare punching power to what you tried to compare it to.Comment

Know your facts? How about the FACT that Freddie Roach admitted on LIVE TV Interview that it was their fault that the fight didn't happen earlier?
Is the youtube video of the interview fact enough for you?Comment

I'm not the biggest Floyd fan there is, but he has a strong argument for being TBE already. 49-0, defeated more champions than anyone in history, never properly knocked down (his gloves did touch the canvas in the Judah fight, but he was never knocked down to the mat face-first or on his back), has a long impressive resume of opponents, won titles in five weight classes, looked like possibly the most unbeatable fighter in history in his prime, etc.
People are fond of saying he's a feather-fisted fighter, but yet he has more knockouts than he does decision victories? 26 KO's, 23 decision wins. If he hadn't been plagued with hand injuries for most of his career, he'd almost certainly have thirty-something knockouts by now.
I'm not saying whether I think Floyd is or isn't TBE, just that you could definitely make a case in his favor.
Fans may have liked him more if he brought more action and took more risks in hurting and knocking out his opponent, but I don't think he would have been a huge fan favorite or anything. Him flaunting his wealth and marketing himself as the villain worked wonders for him, and I always sensed something thoroughly dislikable about him regardless of what he did in the ring, so I'm not sure things would have been drastically different even if he had been a more offensive fighter during the second half of his career. Bing the bad guy just seemed too natural of a role for him to play (probably because it's his natural flavor in real life.)Last edited by LockardTheGOAT; 02-11-2017, 08:08 AM.Comment

well first of all he said kind of which implies there is blame elsewhere. second of all when pac accepted the testing floyd still didn't fight so that really hurts your case that it was only the testing holding up the fight and not just a bluff. third of all floyd when asked about fighting pac he said he it wasn't happening and had to worry about his health. all that on top of the pathetic 40 million flat offer are a lot more damning than a "kind of"Comment

yeah if you are ******. he didn't beat any great prime fighters. isn't that a big hole on his resume?I'm not the biggest Floyd fan there is, but he has a strong argument for being TBE already. 49-0, defeated more champions than anyone in history, never properly knocked down (his gloves did touch the canvas in the Judah fight, but he was never knocked down to the mat face-first or on his back), has a long impressive resume of opponents, won titles in five weight classes, looked like possibly the most unbeatable fighter in history in his prime, etc.

beating more champions in history...there are 4 belts now so thats just silly. you can't compare that to the majority of time when boxing only had 1 or 2 champs, not to mention half the divisions. its 8 times more likely that a guy is a champ now then for example when robinson fought. fair comparison? i think not.
not getting knocked down makes you the greatest? what does that have to do with beating quality opponents? nothing
he looked unbeatable in his prime? uh castillo? the guy most had him losing to. so if he was 48-1 would he not have a case? that says a lot. if one loss can throw you off how can he possibly stand up to other greats who have multiples. that just means his resume is light and not based on quality.Comment
