I always said Floyd would really start getting the respect he deserved after he retired. Nice to see it happening. Once the career was over it was truly incredible to stand back and look at how much he accomplished.

20 years from now he'll be near universally accepted as top 3 all time. His accomplishments are undeniable.

That's the case with every athlete - hindsight is ALWAYS 20/20.

If Ward doesn't rematch Kovalev, it really puts things in perspective.

If Ward beats Kovalev in the rematch he still wouldn't be in the same league as Mayweather.

Ward is a c level fighter compared to Floyd. Floyd on his worst day is better than Ward on his best day. There really is no comparison.

I like them both, but Floyd is an artist, a scientist, and a technician in the ring. Ward is an A fighter.

stop comparing floyd to ward. floyd would never fight anyone as dangerous as a prime kovalev.

floyd moved up and couldn't even beat castillo. kov is a much better fighter than castillo so theres no shame in losing to him. theres no shame in losing to castillo but if we are comparing worse days floyd has had the worst days.

Ward vs Kovalev was much more controversial than Mayweather vs Castillo and Floyd was never dropped by Castillo while Ward was clearly dropped for the second time in his career. And it's funny how De La Hoya was only a year older when he fought Floyd than Kovalev was when he fought Ward but we call him passed prime while we call Kovalev prime.

                    Anything to discredit Floyd, huh?

Mayweather was an artist in the ring, his form was perfect. Ward's style is as ugly as they come, he can't even throw a proper right cross
