If you analyse boxing history, its only really "Slickness" which enables fighters to move up through the weight divisions successfully! (A certain kind of slickness, which seems to be mostly embodied in his realm of reality...........by mostly? Black Fighters! like Floyd Mayweather, Bernard Hopkins, Roy Jones Junior etc).

Yes! fighters like Manny Pacquiao have moved up through the weight divisions! but the main variable effecting his success was not his skills or technical ability. He was relying on his "bionic power", which mysteriously appeared during his world title fight up against Oscar De La Hoya! and then that very same "bionic power" disappeared after a that great run of fights ending with Joshua Clottey!

So taking this information into consideration......

If Golovkin is to move up in weight class, he will have to increase his punching power! because he does not possessed that (Black Slickness!).........the same kind of slickness, that basically ended Kelly Pavlik's career! Golovkin as a fighter has never shown any outward signs of possessing this kind of slickness....

Note: Black Slickness can be embodied by any fighter, from any cultural background! (But the reason why i call it black slickness, is because it seems to be a natural genetic trait! mostly within black fighters throughout history!)...

So I guess Kelly Pavlick used his black slickness to beat Jermain Taylor so badly that he reduced Taylor to a second tier fighter even though Hopkins couldn't accomplish the same feat. On second thought maybe it wasn't Pavlick's "black slickness" ....Maybe it was his "white power".

Kelly Pavlik's optimal fighting range was at 160! the point i am trying to make is? if you have not got "Slickness" as a fighter! you have trouble moving up through the weight classes! you ether have to improve your punching power considerably or punch resistance! which are things that are very difficult. Even after the fight, Bernard Hopkins gave Kelly Pavlik advice and stated.."All you need is the slickness of a black fighter".....Pavlik was a great fighter, and i think he would give Golovkin a good fight! and beat most guys at 160 pounds today brutally!

Lomachenko has recently called out Gracia and Manny Pacquiao at 135! The reason why he is slightly in fear of moving up to 140+ is? because he does not have the "Slickness".
