This makes you question if Ricky is as naturally strong as we were lead to believe, or has just been bullying around smaller foes.

There's nothing to say that he wouldn't do well at the weight if he avoided the true welters like Floyd does.

Im so sick of hearing about that. Nobody ****ing cares about Margarito, period. I wanna see floyd fight people who matter, people whos names will be remembered for generations to come, not some ******* who the ring overrates along with the rest of you.

I've changed my view on Hatton. I think he's overrated now.

He looked average/mediocre against Collazo. He couldn't wrestle Collazo because Collazo is natural 147lb fighter. Without the wrestling tactics, Hatton's skills didn't show. He couldn't jab, couldn't throw straight hands, couldn't effectively adjust.

Without the clinching and hugging, Hatton has nothing.

Yeah, well I'm sick of hearing about how having 1 bad performance out of 41 fights when fighting at a new weight against a skilled, awkward, naturally bigger fighter, whilst topping the bill for the 1st time in a foreign country makes you an overrated bum. Get some ****ing perspective people.

well he was meant to fight a light welterweight and only 6 weeks before the fight, they sed Luis Collazo or no fight. so he had to make the 147 limit. therefore his training could have been rushed. he mite have done too much weights for example.

hatton weighed 160lbs in the fight. he should have weighed 154 so that explains the mediocre.

all the above were against hatton as well as hes crap against southpaws.

so imagine hes 160lbs (middle weighttt ) and his prep for the fight was rushed. and add the mental strain of not knowing who hes gonna fight next. plus they changed it a couple of times.

and if anyone wants to compare with Maywether. well who did he fight?? another former Lightweight.

hatton fought a true welter. but showed that with majority of things against him, he won. be in with controvercy

Well, nothing apart from the WBA belt and an unbeaten record. On Hatton's WORST night in the ring he stepped up a weight, beat the champion to a UNANIMOUS decision and maintained his unbeaten record. Not a bad worst night.
