I don't see why he can't count on this again. First time he played "This is American versus Russian" cold war card. The judges got the hint. Nothing changed. He can do it again. The danger lays in the fact that Kovalev might take it from judges hands.

You are right but judges are not exactly known for their consistency or reliability. I think if it happens again the judges should not be from either man's country to eliminate another biased decision

It seems very unlikely that he is a free agent. He is surely still under contract to Roc Nation.

He can't 'shop around' for his next fight. Not if his contract with Kovalev prohibits him from taking another fight before he takes the return.

I wish the judges had called it a draw. We'd probably get the rematch and there would be far less talk of robberies. Kovalev by his own admission said he didn't do the things he wanted to do, didn't throw enough leather and generally underperformed. Robberies don't happen to guys that underperform against Andre freakin Ward. Krusher needs to drop the trash talk, be a little more humble and he'd probably get his deserved rematch. He showed us his questionable ring IQ against Ward and Chilemba and he's played the wrong game outside of it too, in my opinion.

So June is when the rematch will take place. Hmmm since the majority of the details are contractually set, what's the fuss about. The same folks that were predicting a Ward loss and subsequently crying about Kovalev being robbed are now crying for the rematch. If you believe that Ward's style is boring and that the previous fight was a hug fest then why do you want to see a second fight? Don't be so desperate to see another man lose and stop being a crying twat that comes to NSB b*tching about everything in boxing that doesn't go your way.
