Errol Spence bout to put an Ass whooping on Brook and Thurman bout to put an ass whooping on Garcia. That right there puts them above Crawford and Loma in terms of star power.

In fact, Loma and Crawford aren't stars at all, they are very good boxers yes but to call them stars is the most ludicrous thing ever. Spence is already more popular than both of em combined even though they have better resumes. Imagine what happens when Spence beats Brook? He'll sink then down the toilet.

Fact of the matter is that the only star TC has are Pacquiao and Bradley. They have good boxers in Loma and Crawford, but they are by no means stars.

spence isn't a star and isn't popular smh. Crawford sells 12"1-12k seats at home. Spence doesn't even get to fight at home and doesn't sell many tickets.

Thurman Garcia winner will be a bigger star but Thurman has never been a big ticket seller. Don't count the pbc ticket giveaway.

Guys like Verdejo and Jose Ramirez sell a ton of tickets for Top Rank and haven't even broken through yet.
Hell seanie Monaghan sells more tickets than Spence

TR seemed like the obvious choice once I heard it was down to them or Roc Nation. Good luck to Shakur.

Lomachenko doesn't deserve any promotion in the first place, aging fighter with a loss in the resume. I wouldn't invest my money in it, I'd better invest my money in some fighter like Broner

Floyd was trying to sign this kid bad, I guess Shakur wasnt down for the fight for low money and ill buy you a car deal Floyd gave to his other fighters. It seems Floyds fighters arent too bright they are content with just hanging with Floyd and having him buy them cars.

Floyd even got mad when some of his fighters were trying to demand more money.

TopRank got Conlan and now Stevenson (I am not aware of others), but Schaefer has grabbed about 6-7 Olympians
That's how many Top Rank has signed.

Top Rank has proven they can build prospects.

Schaefer hasn't yet proven that, post-GBP. Early on, GBP had some growing pains in bringing along some of their prospects and former Olympians, so it'll be interesting to see how Schaefer does early on with the Olympians he's signed.

What Schaefer is doing is kinda analogous to what to what Lou Dibella did in signing a bunch of Olympians after he left HBO...and he also had inconsistent results with that class. Schaefer has been a promoter before, but his background is in banking, not boxing....so he'll have to have good boxing people around making decisions. Do we know all who those people are yet?

Regarding Top Rank's Olympic class, from Rafael:

Stevenson is the sixth 2016 Rio Olympian to sign with Top Rank, which also has signed lightweight gold medalist Robson Conceicao of Brazil; bantamweight Michael Conlan of Ireland; American flyweight representative Antonio Vargas; lightweight Teofimo Lopez, who is American but represented his parents' home country of Honduras; and flyweight Jeyvier Cintron, the only two-time Olympic boxer from Puerto Rico.

Great Job by Top Rank signing the best prospect of the United States team.

Interested to see what network Shakur debuts on. Bob Arum still has a fast ball left and is making big time future moves.
According to what the quotes Rafael has from Arum, they'd like to have him debut on HBO on the Lomachenko-Sosa undercard, but it's up to HBO.

I'm also interested in where Top Rank takes him after that....because they've signed a lot of Olympic prospects...what network do they plan on showing them on? Raises the question of whether Top Rank has a network plan, because you'd think they'd want/need one to showcase all these fighters, and not be stuck just taking the undercard/Solo Boxeo route that they've had to use for some of their previous Olympians.

Arum said Stevenson's professional debut will take place in April. He would like to have his debut take place on the undercard of the junior lightweight title fight between Vasyl Lomachenko and Jason Sosa, which is scheduled for April 8 at the new MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland. It would make sense because Stevenson, who is from Newark, New Jersey, lives and trains in Burke, ******ia, a Washington, D.C., suburb, where he has many ties and which is only about a half-hour from the venue. But Arum said he would do that only if HBO, which is televising Lomachenko-Sosa, would agree to televise Stevenson's bout.

"It's so obvious," Arum said. "It would make terrific programming. If HBO is interested, they can ask us."

Lomachenko isn't American, so it's a little different...it's not like they have a home market in the US for him way they have with Jose Carlos Ramirez in Fresno or Crawford in Omaha.

Differnt case with Stevenson....he's from Newark, NJ...which has the Prudential Center where the NJ Devils play, so I would assume they'll have him on some fight cards there.

Top Rank also has Julian Rodriguez, who is also from New Jersey, so I would assume you'd seem them on a lot of cards together in the NY/NJ area...and that could well include the Puerto Rican cards they have in New York every year.
