This isn't a loma situation. That guy was a finished product ready to go from the start.

I wish this kid well, but this is a little surprising considering the current trends in the sport. If you watch what floyd has done with jack, davis (tank), tabiti, etc. I think it's fair to say that they are on to something at mayweather promotions. All of his fighters have gotten opportunities, even j'leon love (not all have succeeded obviously).

For example, davis's profile has exploded over the last month. (his social media following increased by by over 200k on ig; more than almost all current champions)

i get wanting to roll with bob (he's the best promoter of all time), but this may turn out to be a bad move as bob is old and prince managed fighters always end up in some contractual dispute. (mayweather, ward, etc.) fingers crossed that this works out.
haymon knows the kind of divas ward and j prince are.... Thats why he never got in the mix to sign him.....

Shakur Stevenson is the best prospect USA has had in probably 10+ years. Easily the best from the Olympic team.

The funny thing is, after all the courting Mayweather did, the guy Floyd hates the most comes in and swoops Shakur Stevenson from ride under his wing.

Big W for Bob. Monumental L for Mayweather.
FLOYD MENTIONED SHAKURS NAME LIKE ONCE OR TWICE...... WHATS ALL THIS COURTING YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT????

Todd duBoef will take over when Arum steps away. I think he did good.

Floyd has done good with Jack but guys like Tabiti and davis he has disputes with and has to put in the shelf. Will be interesting to see how he works out as a promoter. He has already blasted some of his fighters for being greedy.

We knew Joto Shaw would be butt hurt by this. Top Rank has signed almost all the top Olympian and a haymon hasn't signed one.

Top rank has 3 of the top 5 p4p fighters in the world with lomachenko Crawford and pacquiao yet u just hate.

Say what you want about Bob but he knows how to build fighters. Good move IMO for Stevenson.

Hopefully he will do a better job with this dude than he has done with Loma (promotion wise) who he has fighting in Mary fkin land.
