There is not much to separate them.

Mikey has a deeper resume. Loma has the best win(s).

And so did loma in better fashion, Garcia does not have a win against oppnents Like Russell jr and the ax man, no ones even close to the talent level of those two on his resume and loma did it in 8 fights .

You guys strait refuse to give Russians any credit lol

Lol what? Scorecards are not the only thing that matters. Maybe for casuals who boxrec their knowledge.
According to your logic Mayweather had a razor close fight against Canelo Alvarez, although everyone knows he dominated alvarez with ease.
Pernell Whitaker didnt school Chavez? Bradley beat Pacquiao first time around? I hope you are not serious.

Sosa was clearly beaten by Walters, but didnt embarass himself. Afterwards he won against unbeaten Fortuna and Stephen Smith.
He is by no means a great opponent, but he is no pushover. Also Lomachenko just won against Walters, who was highly ranked by most guys here. I dont like it, but only a hand few of boxers are fighting back to back against great fighters.

Back to the question, as of right now Garcia has the deeper resume.

I love them both. They are both great fighters. Mikey has no losses and Loma has one loss. I think Loma has defeated better fighters than Garcia has. Not that Garcia couldn't beat the same guys Loma beat but he hasn't fought guys that high rated yet. For instance Loma just won every minute of every round with Walters. Garcia has yet to beat a fighter as highly regarded as Walters was. I am sure he will do so in the future.

How does losing to a guy Mikey beat & beating a guy past prime that Mikey beat in his prime make for a better or even close resume?

That is probably true. Garcia has a better resume but best Lomachenko's wins > best Garcia's wins

Yes. I love Lomachenko as an amateur and he's ATG in amateur boxing, he's on my p4p list based on his amateur accomplishments. But he didn't have to turn pro, that was a wrong thing to do for him and he can't attract any fans, from business point of view even Broner > Lomachenko (not his fault he's foreign though)

                    Mayweather situation was different
