I have no doubts that Hearn would make the fight if it was presented. He's done business with Haymon on other occasions, Hearn would not mind sending Ortiz to get the job done on Wilder.

Then why fight him? Why doesn't he just fight fighters that are ready?
He can add to his highlight reel, get a devastating KO with people watching, this'll help him maximize his earnings. He's coming back from an injury and he can't really get one of the big fights right now so he's just playing the game.
