Hearns wouldn't had lost to Andre Ward.

Just watch how Hearns measures the distance with the jab to set up the right hand in his signature win vs Pipino Cuevas.

He did the same with Leonard but Leonard, the genius fighter that he is, instinctively brushed or push Tommy's left hand away from his face.
Excellent post, man. You nailed it.

Oh I think Kov definitely has a stronger chin, but I believe pound for pound, Hearns actually hit harder with the one punch KO power.

You can't control the talent around you. Hearns was lucky to fight in an era where he was surrounded by ATGs in and around his weight class.

Yes, everyone gets "official" when the "official" decision goes their way. Doesn't make me or most others think he won. It's boxing. Bad decisions happen all the time. If you want to go straight by the statistics, go ahead, but it often fails at painting an accurate picture.

Well, on this site, it seems that every fighter is expected to fight ATGs, because they must be everywhere. If not, the weak era excuses abound. Haha. A guy can't win.
