Comments Thread For: Vanes Martirosyan a Free Agent - Parts With Haymon, Brown

Junior middleweight contender Vanes Martirosyan got what he wanted, to become a promotional and managerial free agent. The boxer revealed that he's free and clear of any contractual obligations to adviser Al Haymon or promoter Tom Brown of TGB Promotions. The split comes as no surprise, as Vanes was openly complaining about the direct of his career last October.

Best of luck to him but NOBODY can help Vanes career, he was given opportunities but lost all of the. They was getting ready to cash him out to young Erikson Lubin and I guess he was like *** that I want out lol

Maybe he can go overseas but I doubt anybody can help him, excellent Amateur Career but style just never translated to the Pros well for whatever reason. The Grass is not greener anywhere else he will learn the hard way sadly. Maybe he can go to GBP and they throw him in with some of their Middleweights or something I don't know

Vanes is a pretty good fighter but where does he go from here?? I think he should try to move up to 160.

Sure GBP would just feed him to the likes of Quigley and other good prospects

I'm glad he was able to go on his own accord. I hate reading articles where promoters put fighters on the shelf for ten wanting to explore other options. Best of luck to Vanes

Didn't work out for him with Arum.

Didn't work out for him with Haymon.

So that leaves GBP. Or maybe Richard Schaefer's new outfit.
