Hunter is a good trainer for ward and literally nobody else. Not 1 single fighter looks better with Hunter than they did before.

Fighters with Fonfara's experience are almost impossible to change. It's like changing your handwriting mechanics after writing a page a day for x amount of years.

At that point, the trainer is a motivator and, as a result, a confidence booster. For a fighter that lacked motivation/confidence it makes a world of difference, if it didn't then you're just swapping one whisperer for another.

Fonfara fights Chad Dawson on March 4th on the undercard of Thurman vs Garcia.

It's hard for Hunter to change Fonfara since he's already been around for so long. I think the only thing that changes is his workout methods and the way he moves in the ring - Fonfara sometimes allows to take punches and he thinks he can take it but sometimes people punch as hard as Joe Smith did and the lights turn off. With Hunter his conditioning and head movement may improve. Sam Colonna only could train someone for so long - Fonfara needed something new.

Fonfara Dawson should be good . Hunter seems to talk rubbish repeating the obvious and have his fighters fighting more defensively.He seems more of a cheerleader type like a Pepe Correa......he sure is no Manny Steward.
