    Give verdejo a break...

Damn you guys love to go in on a fighter dont you. Hes come back from a motorcycle accident, he won the fight clearly and your still ****ting on him. You would have thought he'd been ko'd judging by reaction on here. Kids 23 years old and im seeing people saying 'he was never much good' etc. Hes still not even going to be at his peak at his age. Why are people building these fighters up to then knock them down?
Lets see how he does against one of the top dogs before we all throw him on the trash heap, ive got a feeling hes gonna do a lot better than you all expect....

Even ignoring the comeback fight, Verdejo's performances in the three fights before weren't all that impressive either.

Verdejo has been built up for 5 years, and it's clear that he's not ready for thee world title

23 year olds are rarely ready for legit world titles...unless you are Vargas, Mayweather, and a few others....the kid as nothing but time to develop.

              He's missing something, for sure.

I felt the same way when I would watch Dulorme...fast and crisp, talent is there. However, for someone that's that fast and crisp, the inaccuracy is incredible. Both guys have so much trouble landing power shots and I think it has more to do with their sense(or lackthereof) of distance. He's also not a big enough puncher to fight the style he fights.

I don't think that can be fixed, although Verdejo's pedigree is stronger than Dulorme's was so maybe he regressed and can find his way back.

he was 1/8 to KO an over-matched opponent...

and he has looked crap and totally feather fisted since his hand surgery a few years ago
