Just a note for all of those viewing, the things Chavez Sr. is talking about is the reason the Ali Act was enacted.

It's just not his handlers but also the networks and even the WBC whose only interest is the publicity of the fighter and trying to push him into better and more lucrative bouts regardless of the amount of rest he's had...

I'm not a betting man, but funny enough you mention it. While the first rounds of the fight were happening i said to myself "man, i should've bet some big money on Berchelt lol"

Yeah but on your first message you said you knew Berchelt was gonna win. Your saying it as if you were certain of it.
So if you was certain why not bet on it?
I understand your not a ******** man but if your certain of the outcome why not bet and make some easy money??

I kinda thought the same thing as Senior. This guy's cuts were very deep in the salido fight. They did a piss-poor job to repair them and the guy needed an easier fight to comeback. But since he is not a name like canelo and his shelf life is short, they decided to cash him out. ODLH should be ashamed of himself and Eric Gomez too.

I said three tough fights in a row is dumb. I'm agreeing with him, but hell, every fighter has to think for himself before he goes in there. He knew better than anybody how tough those fights would be. Chavez would have had enough sense not to do it. I doesn't make the matchmaking right, but geez. Think for yourself.

Well, I guess this is the reason why Chavez himself rarely ever fought back to back dangerous opponents and would often go back to Mexico to fight guys with 1-15 and 0-3 records while he was an undefeated world championnwity 50-70 plus fights.

Chavex always fought guys with good records between important fights and even the oponents who didnīt have an impressve record punched back. Other fighters on the other hand punch the heavy bag which doesnīt hit you back, dummy. Oh, and no, he fought in the states mosstly and sometimes in Mexico so his fans can see him, regardless of money. That is how a true champ acts. idiot

The Salido fight was OK because the Miura cuts were career ending....he needed to cashout in a barnburner rivalry.......but then they went and ducked the rematch to fight a bigger younger dude with more power for less money.....smfh.....
