I think Jacobs would put up a good fight as long as the fight lasted. He would trade with Canelo and win some rounds and hurt Canelo a few times. It would be a great slug fest. Canelo has a rock chin. I've only seen him hurt once as a welterweight teenager by Cotto's brother. I think his much better chin than Jacobs chin would be the difference. He could probably take Jacobs power but Jacobs couldn't take his power. Sooner or later Canelo wins by KO in a war.

I think this would be a good fight, which I could see going either way.

I realize that they are both technically middleweights, but Jacobs is as big a they get at middleweight

Canelo is a better boxer, but Jacobs is soo much longer. Jacobs should work at range and make Canelo pay for getting inside. Inside Canelo would have the advantage. Canelo has a great chin, so would he be able to weather Jacobs' shots to get inside and possibly KTFO Jacobs' shakier chin.

I don't know, tough to call. Gun to my head, I'd pick Canelo. It would be interesting.

Im assuming this fight would be at 160, unless GBP could get Team Jacobs to agree to cut off body parts to make CaneloWeight.
