Canelo vs. Jacobs

That's the thing, I don't know if Jacobs CAN outbox Canelo at range. He wasn't really outboxing Mora, for example.
At the same time, Canelo has never shown himself to be a very effective pressure fighter against top competition (getting inside on Kirkland or Josesito is a much easier task than v. Jacobs). Canelo is more boxer, than pressure fighter.
But Jacobs is so much longer than Canelo. If Jacobs can keep Canelo at jab range, he'd win. If Canelo gets inside, he should win. But can Jacobs do it? And can Canelo effectively work his way inside.Comment

You've never seen 5'7 Canelo against a REAL middleweight.I think Jacobs would put up a good fight as long as the fight lasted. He would trade with Canelo and win some rounds and hurt Canelo a few times. It would be a great slug fest. Canelo has a rock chin. I've only seen him hurt once as a welterweight teenager by Cotto's brother. I think his much better chin than Jacobs chin would be the difference. He could probably take Jacobs power but Jacobs couldn't take his power. Sooner or later Canelo wins by KO in a war.
Cotto is not a real MW.
Jacobs destroys that hypejob..Comment
