And legally he did the correct thing and the WBC did he correct thing calling it off. If something would've happened to Wilder the WBC would've been held legally responsible and Povetkin, and his promoter. People focus on Wilder not fighting but ignore all the legal issues if he had fought and something happen to him. We're talking civil and CRIMINAL charges. smh people don't think

actually he did, all wada did was extend a grace period for povetkin for those who failed test under a certain amount to allow more information.

Povetkin, of course, hurt his case a lot with the second PED scandal, regardless of what his lawyers claim. But it may not be enough. We shall see... imagine Wilder having to fight Povetkin, getting KOd AND giving all the money away to pay for the court mandated damages

Here we go with the boxingscene lawyers. Yall swore up and down Haymon would lose lmao. You have some weird imagination. Wonder why y'all taking up for a cheater so bad? I wonder what could it be hmmmm?

No he did not. The traces found in his system did not surpass a level warranting a failed test dummy.

Povetkin failed a test versus Stiverne, show me a any credible source where it states he failed a doping test versus Wilder.

                  I'll wait...

                    yeah no

                    http://www.badlefthook.com/2016/7/1/...ander-povetkin

"Povetkin’s positive test was for trace amounts of meldonium, and he had submitted to three tests before that one, which all came back negative. With meldonium added to the prohibited substances list effective January 1 of this year (and announced it would be last September), WADA has ruled that certain minor levels in the system for tests between January 1 and October 1 of this year will be allowed, and Povetkin’s positive test falls in that range. As of October 1, any amount of meldonium is strictly forbidden under these rules."

if povetkin tested tomorrrow for trace amounts of meldonium hed fail a drug test just like he did last year.

                      Can you even read ?

Clearly and evidently Povetkin was tabbed with the PED in May, which falls in the armistice period as long as it does not surpass the cut off mark taking into account it was legal up until 12/31/15, an extra nine months on that date covers May 2016, you dumb ass.

What this means going forward is still unknown, but it likely does strengthen the Povetkin team’s case with the WBC to keep him as mandatory challenger and again order the fight with Deontay Wilder.

No shyt he'd fail if he tested tomorrow as that aint January 16 to October 16 is it ? Wat the fück is this, kindergarten ?
