GGG and its not a contest in reality. Canelo's best wins ARE better than GGGs but the way he has won those fights is suspect at times (I feel he lost to Cotto and barely got by Trout) but GGG has battered everyone in front him, showing he is levels above everyone in his division. Thats what a p4p fighters supposed to do.

Golovkin. Alvarez has better wins, but only the Cotto win wasn't questionable among his best wins. I'll take Golovkin's dominance in that same period.

Alvarez has the better resume. Period, end of story...

As usual you have pound for pound mixed up with resume. Your not asking us who we think is better pound for pound. You are just asking us who has the better resume. Pound for pound isn't resume. Resume is his past from the day he turned pro. Pound for pound is how good you think he is right now for his weight based on his last couple of fights not based on what he did years ago. If you go by resume then Canelo is forever stuck with his poor fight against Mayweather. Could Mayweather still beat today's Canelo? I don't think so.

Debatable now, won't be when GGG smashes Jacobs in a few rounds

                  I voted GGG

ESPN and The Ring both have GGG ranked higher while BoxRec has Canelo higher.

Canelo- beat Cotto, Khan, Smith, Kirkland, Angulo, Lara, Trout.

Golovkin- beat Lemieux, Brook, Murray, Geale, Rubio, Macklin, Stevens.

Canelo has arguably fought the better competition, but Golovkin has 17 title defenses and 23 consecutive KOs.

                    Who should be higher P4P?
Based on who they beat it's impossible to have Golovkin higher IMO.

It's funny how p4p arguments always revert to comparing resumes.
They're roughly the same size...if they fight, i think ggg would win. P4p as a concept is, who would win if the fighters were the same size...well in this case they are. Why all the resume talk?
