I think his old man did open a shop after a while, like a small corner shop that a lot of Indian and Pakistani people own in the UK but it wouldn't exactly make you rich or even middle class. Plus they had a lot of brothers and sisters in the family.
I'm not sure, i watched a documentary on Naz once and they said that he'd definitely grew up fairly poor, plus the area of Sheffield he lived was definitely a very working class area.
