Felix Verdejo vs. Oliver Flores Fight Gallery - Felix Verdejo wasn’t exactly spectacular, but he was victorious Friday night in his first fight since sustaining injuries in a motorcycle accident last summer. Puerto Rico’s Verdejo defeated Oliver Flores by unanimous decision in a 10-round lightweight fight in San Juan. I like Verdejo but that guy Defense needs a lot of work before it is too late. He is getting away with some Blatant Flaws because of the Level of competition he is fighting but a Good Counter Puncher would knock him out. Still only 23 years old though, certainly not ready for Mikey Garcia, Robert Easter Jr, Linares or any of the top guys at 135 at the moment. Probably could beat Flanagan on talent alone though

Have you seen Flanagan? He's a big boy for lightweight and worlds above Flores. I'm not a big Flanagan fan, but Verdejo looks bad. My money is on Flanagan.
