When Ward a underdog in the tourney swept the super 8 and wiped out the sm division some real good fighters Froch with one hand was he running as he cleaned whole dividion out with ease?

ward would only join that tournament if all his fights were in the states and most in his hometown. meanwhile a guy like froch fought in 4 different countries. fair? i would say no especially when you have fights like ward-kessler where the guy clearly didn't want to follow the rules and clinched 87 times and headbutted a bunch.

cleaned out the division? no. he ducked bute.

with ease? no he almost lost to bika and should have been dq'd against kessler.

My friend spoke to Ward in the UK yesterday and interviewed him before he asked him select questions and applauded him on his victory over Kovalev and telling him not to listen to the nonsense from the critics, with the camera rolling a guy next to him asks Ward if he thinks he will ever fight GGG he replies openly and honestly looking directly at the dude stating ' I don't believe he really wants the fight' Ward is an open honest guy who wants to be treat as he treats others, his religion deems him to treat strangers with dignity and respect. If you're questioning that you're a bigger loser I already credit you, because that's a fact.

everyone says that when they disagree with scoring. everyone thinks they are right. im going to take a stand and say i've been wrong on every single fight i've ever scored. baldomir you did beat floyd after all.

yes post the video of roudn 10 where kovalev lands twice as many punches as ward and lands better punches and all the judges gave it to ward. people really need to learn how to score like the judges and you and your suck up friend.

Ok so I just watched round ten, Kovalev does not land twice as many that is fabricated and also and these are the integral parts you really need to read for your own benefit now not my own, it was a close round, Ward could not miss whilst Kovalev was missing WIDE, the round Ward is show boating and playing to the crowd, Kovalev is deeply and visibly frustrated at the end for all to see as things in that round clearly did not go his way. Ward also landed the heaviest shot of the round and Kovalev missed with potentially the biggest shot of the fight !

Now I encourage you to watch that round again and if you scored it to Kovalev I really do not think their is any help for you whatsoever.

For me you've just confirmed you're one of the worst posters on this site and cleRly do not know how to score fights.

Eubank is an absolute proper idiot. But I do believe in 12 months he would beat golovkin absolutely. And the ward I saw against kov wasn't great so has a chance as well.come on haters let me have it

Let me dovetail on this: Eubanks has the talent to win against great fighters in the ring. Talent is an aspect. Muhammed Ali had talent, had a cause and could take a punch when he needed to do so...he rose to the occasion when challenged, he did not get arrested for crack possession, rather for acting ethically in a difficult situation. By the time he faced Liston he had fire for an establishment that like one of his heroes, Jack Johnson, did not want him to succeed and he was going to show them!!!!

My point is that talent alone takes one so far. Eubanks lost a lot when he hesitated after triple G called his bluff. It shows that he is not as confident as he proclaims frankly because there isn't a young fighter around who, if they thought they would win that fight wouldn't jump and do it for almost any paycheck.

I never boxed, but fought in the ring and I remember that when someone good is baring down upon you, any crack, any weakness, it becomes prominant! Like Tyson says, "everyone has a plan until punched in the face."

I think Eubanks is in a similar place as Anthony Joshua. If Joshua was hypnotized and simply went after Klitsko like a robot he would probably win that fight. As it is the fight will test his confidance, his ability to take risks, etc. Eubanks has no understanding of this process yet. So, talent wise? he has arrived perhaps, but mentally? the kid needs to build up a bit because any crack, any weakness becomes a mountain when the pressure is on! So much of fighting is psychological... But you are certainly not being unreasonable in your assesment IMO.

I don't know where some of these guys are getting these scores...There is a guy on Youtube who did a vid allegedly showing Kovalev scoring more blows...I was impressed for a bit, as I like to have an open mind about these things. BUT the guy starts scoring strange punches that are not landing, and he only shows some of his scoring!! so when he tells us, "nothing happened in that part of the fight" we are supposed to take his word for it?...Funny how there were no sequences where Kovalev clinches and Ward hits with multiple body shots, on his presentation.

I saw Kovalev initiate clinches almost every time Ward scores to the body. i watched this damn thing 3 times now to be sure.

Andre Ward is like Rocky Balboa, in Rocky III! The worst thing that can happen, to a fighter is they become civilized! Boxing is a business, and upon the business side of things? he is doing a great job. But as a competitor, i sense that his competitiveness is decreasing! Somebody like Carl Froch is still very competitive, and in my opinion, he has not retired psychologically! I just feel like Andre Ward in comparison has retired psychologically....

If i was Virgil Hunter, i would confront him!
