How are so many people ranking him higher than GGG in pfp rankings? He has yet to beat a solid contender and hasn't won all of his fights by impressive KO. His best win is chris Algieri..

GGG's resume is just as "great" and he's decimated all of his opponents. What is with the unjustified hype>? People act like Spence is already Floyd mayweather, it's a ****ing joke. Can you let the boy beat a solid contender?

Is this because they work for ESPN, an American based network. I just cannot find any logic behind bias like this.

It's easy (and justifiable) to jump on the bandwagon of a guy who is fearless, humble, and trying to prove himself by taking on all comers.

People got behind Brook as well when they 'thought' that he was that kind of guy, it's only after he started trying to cherry pick that people got frustrated and got on his back.

Spence called out Thurman before Thurman beat Porter and before Thurman even got handed the WBA scrap, but Thurman unequivocally stated his intention to duck Spence.

So Spence put his head down and worked towards earning his mandatory challenge to one of the champions, which in this case happens to be Kell Brook, he's doing this so that he gets two things:

1) A big name on his resume.

2) A belt to take to the negotiation table.

3) To expand his fanbase and to prove himself.

There is absolutely no reason to hate on Spence supporters. He is making the right moves for someone at this stage of his career so why wouldn't you support that?

Yeah, no reason to raise a fuss just because Teddy Dumbass Atlas put Spence on his p4p. Remember, for any issue involving Atlas, you have to factor in that he's a moron.


Reasonable people recognize that he's young and hasn't proven anything yet. I do see him as a p4per. Just not yet.

This is such a tiresome trend around here. People want to get everyone to rally behind them by making common-sense statements just because someone said something goofy.

I hear what you'er saying, people have a tendency over hype a real promising fighter. That's just human nature. I also would like to say this, Brook vs Porter was no master class and that ain't no hype.
