I don't consider the Pac - Horn fight a PPV event by itself.
      Parker fights on PPV already.

          Yes, but in NZ.

I don't understand how they could have problems to get funding for the Ruiz fight (they asked for public funding), and for this fight, which is not bigger than the previous one, they offered 3M$ to organize it. In my opinion, there is something behind the curtains going on.

Potentially, DUCO have just had a large cash injection from the NRL Nines - a rugby league tournament being held this weekend in NZ that they are promoters for. Exactly how much cashflow it creates, I don't know. But it was time consuming enough for them to black out the calendar and ensure Parker doesn't fight over this period.

They were chancing their arm, just trying it on. What is it you feel their is something goin on behind curtains ?

Maybe they received some backing from Arum, but to get benefits from future fights in return.

Or they plan to fit it in the Horn - Pacquiao card, so they could try to increase the USA PPVs.

I expect it'll be NZ or the US in the least, Fury's trainer will be unable to travel its an instant advantage.

Parker headlines his own ppv's that'd be like putting Floyd on the undercard of a Manny fight, it makes no sense. This is prize fighting dude they've to recoup the 3m dollars !

Is Pac vs Horn on ppv in the US ?

Yes, but how many PPVs does he sell in NZ?

I think they could use this fight to make the Pacquiao card a PPV.

I don't think they will make Horn - Pacquiao a PPV event by itself. They would need some nice undercard fights, and this one could be one of those.

Because everyone wants a hand-out. It's money for nothing, of course they asked for it.

This idea that Duco doesn't/hasn't profited from Parker from day one needs to die. Look at the ****ty undercards they put up - they barely have to pay those bums, and they still get good PPV sales in NZ.

They are a for-profit company and they turn a profit regularly.
