Lmao if only this was true. All it did was make the haters point to the first fight and say he should've lost that and discredited him for a rematch that happened within the same year, despite the injury!

Ward will fight Kov again and it will be another close fight! Looking forward to SOG's next gear and also Kov's "next level ass whooping" he alluded to for the rematch!

Ward and Kov gets my immediate respect for facing each other while people are moaning over the smallest of things!

It really screws Kovalev over if Ward retires and splits up all those belts and leaves Kovalev with no big fights that he can get to reestablish himself.

If Kovalev has to sweeten the pot by agreeing to have the fight in LA or Oakland, then it'd be in his best interest to do so.

Dude if you quit after an inconclusive victory like that then you aint nothing but a *****, and you lose your right to compare yourself to Mayweather (not that you ever had it).

Mayweather rematched Castillo and Maidana and proved he deserved the decision (although I thought the first maidana fight was as clear as delight that Floyd put a whooping on that ass).

Truth is, neither of you two deserved the decision that night. The judges should have scored it a draw because it was inconclusive AF. Do the rematch and win more convincingly, then you can retire or duck Stevenson (everybody seems to think it's okay to duck him for some reason).

Just retire if you're gonna be a little b*tch about honoring the rematch clause with Kovalev. If Ward fights Kovalev again, i'd root for him, and I think he'd win. But he's acting scared right now, even though his resume shows otherwise (about him being a p*ssy). Kovalev/Beterbiev isn't that big of a fight. He really would be screwed b/c he couldn't even become Stevenson's mando. Stevenson hasn't fought a mando for so long, that's he already got 2 waiting for him with the winner of Bute/Alvarez and Gvozdyk.

All that hard work of unifying a division down the drain b/c of a ****-wad like Ward.

I respect Ward skills and courage but dude has been vastly overrated, proof being how he was supposed to school the euro bum Kovalev.

At least Calslappy made a record of 21 defenses so he has a much more solid legacy than Ward (is that really debatable?).
