Well if not Berto I'd take this fight.. not that Berto is a top fighter but Porter can atleast have a good fight till it lasts with Collazo..

Don't even know why Collazo was put on the shelf for almost 2 years when he did well in his last fights against Haymon's top fighters. I kept thinking about him when Danny Garcia was just loitering around for almost one year not looking for opponents.

And I like how Collazo answered the question about who he wants for his next fight:

"You know, right now Keith Thurman is fighting Garcia," Collazo said during a post-fight interview that aired on FS1. "I believe Errol Spence is fighting Kell Brook. And I believe Shawn Porter's the only one right now. He don't have no opponent, and I wanna dance, we could dance."

He's specific and doesn't pretend not being aware of what's going on, who's available, who's not. Lara would rather call out someone he knew would be riddled with issues in the negotiating table. He won't call out Andrade, Williams, Jermell, Jermall. It's so insulting.

Collazo wasn't fighting because he was recovering from an injury. This fight was supposed to happen last year but it didn't do to Collazo's injury. As for Lara,Andrade would rather fight CUlcay instead of going straight to Lara. Williams just lost, and he wouldn't fight the Charlos because they have the same trainer.

I think Porter beats up Collazo but it works to keep him busy and Collazo is generally in solid fights. It is a lot like the Berto fight really, either one would serve the purpose of keeping Porter paid and in the minds of boxing fans with winnable fights that should be entertaining.
