Would Antonio Cervantes be p4p number 1 in this era

I was watching some of his fights earlier and dude was a beast. Some say he is one of the greatest 140 pounders of all time. So how would he fare in today's junior welterweight class with a perfect fighter like Crawford lurking around? And would he be p4p 1?

That makes what Nicolino Locche did to him so impressive.

      No.

But he was a very good fighter though.

He was a beast, but hard to match guys in different eras - especially when Crawford has yet to peak

It's hard to say if he would beat Crawford but p4p #1 is reaching

Didn't Wilfred Benitez take his title at age 17 ?

You profess to be a boxing fan but don't know who Cervantes is? I'm not a bit surprised.

I believe Cervantes would rule 140 today. He'd be in the top 10 P4P and maybe top 5 but not #1.

Not #1 p4p but probably in the top 10 somewhere. I'm not sure he'd be #1 at 140 either as I think Crawford might be able to get the better of him.
