Yea I do tend to think Lomachenko is all wrong for Sosa, but Lomachenko is all wrong for a lot of guys and Sosa is a top guy who earned his spot.

The Walters fight? Yes I watched it. Walters won. That's why I said it's not his fault the judges gave him the draw. What the hell was he supposed to do? Forfeit the draw? No. He went on to win the belt against Fortuna and beat Smith. He took advantage of his opportunities and landed himself a big fight.

Would have rather seen him vs corrales. invsible has better footwork than loma imo. would have been an excellent technical match.

It feels as if this was the reason Walters/Sosa ended as a draw in what almost all think was a loss.

Loma just beat Walters so it's hard to think he will lose to Sosa.

I'm going to watch but this is not the kind of fight I think people want to see.

Maybe it means Loma gets a Manny or Crawford fight next if he dominates which would be great.

Who cares about that fight. Even the Lomachenko haters know Salido would lose a rematch.

My only issue is the way you word it MCC. Imo he didn't take advantage of an opportunity his promoter cheated his opponent and he benefited from Arum screwing Walters.

It just would be nice for him to avenge that loss.

Ok let's say that did happen what is Sosa supposed to do? Life is about taking advantage of opportunities. He got an undeserved draw but went out in his next two fights and left no doubt. That's why I say he took advantage of his opportunities

Now as far as his promoters (Arum and Peltz. Sosa signed a co-promotion deal with Arum a cpl weeks before that fight) fixing the fight. I haven't seen any evidence of that. Bad decisions happen in boxing a lot. But I have always wondered why Walters got punished while Sosa got a title fight his next fight.

OK fair points. Arum being involved makes me lean toward shenanigans. This was one of the worst robberies of the year.

I'm not even mad that he's won the next 2 fights.

I was hoping that Sosa would get matched against Tank, while Loma would face Corrales.
