I have no complaints if it's one of three fights this year. If it's one of just two, then I would've preferred someone better

Sosa applies pressure well and could do a decent job of aping Salido's strategy against Loma

I'm dying to see Loma fight Russell Jr again but I guess this will do for now a win over Sosa and one or two more names of that caliber and you might be looking at the P4P 1 by end of the year.

It's a good start to the year I just hope they keep it this way.

What's the point of a rematch with GRJ? Loma clearly won the first time and nobody really buys GRJ's excuse that he "over trained". Loma would probably beat him worse at this point.

Last 5 of his fights 4 being for world titles
He fxcks up with his weight so he screws it up against Lomachenko and the other three draws and losses.

Salido really doesn't deserve another world title fight that and he was being greedy all those chances and being gifted another one and he thought he could get a big payday when he has failed non-stop in recent fights lol.

This. I still think it will be a decent fight.

              Loma stops him around 8

It's about Lomachenko avenging his only loss. Now he might never get the chance to do it.

Just think the build up would be good, would like to see what chances/adjustments GR Jr would make.
I'm not buying any of Jr excuses he made I'd just really like to see that one happen again because I enjoyed it the first time.

How is anyone disappointed in this fight? It's not like there's P4P fighters all over the place. He's barely been at 130, you can't expect him to move up to again to 135 just like that.

Yeah Sosa should have lost to Walters, but we know he's a live dog from that fight. He beat Smith and Fortuna. Besides, Walters would have been ranked top 10 P4P if he was more popular. Again, not like there is a lot of fighters around Loma that are P4P. Walters had a better record and resume than Kovalev did, but he was never on a P4P list cause he was never appreciated. Regardless, who cares. This is still a title fight against a great opponent.

I don't think much of Sosa but he beat Fortuna's ass who was a legit top 5 contender at the time. Give him his moment.
