A rematch????ward looked woozy several times that Kovalev tagged him ......Kovalev jostled wards brain several times in the fight and now he is having second thoughts on the rematch.........time will tell and so far father time is not being kind to ward......he would rather contemplate retirement then honor a rematch

But he doesn't have Floyd's fans and most likely never will for whatever reason. If he didn't have a huge fanbase after the super six why will he suddenly get one now with his mostly unattractive fighting style and non-controversial character. Floyd was a one-ff.
Floyd got cut slack at 154 by the wbc and wba because he brought so much money to them. Ward did just 160K PPV and the rematch will be in the same ball park - so no need for or probablilty that the Orgs "appease" him.
